One Brick at a Time


We invite you to mark your place in Fredonia’s history by purchasing a Scholarship Walkway Brick. Your engraved brick can be a personal legacy or be used to honor a friend, parent, student, or even a favorite faculty member. Show your pride in your alma mater by inscribing your name and class year on a brick. Commemorate a special occasion such as a graduation or retirement, or memorialize a  member of the Fredonia community.The Brick Walkway will be installed in theWilliams Center Patio area for students, faculty and alumni to enjoy. Friday, Oct. 7 -- Freedonia Marxonia "Lunch with the New York Times" activity.  Marxonia creator Douglas Canham '87 and playwright, Thomas Dudzick '73 will be on hand for Freedonia Marxonia.

Eve Beglarian, a composer, performer and audio producer based in New York City, will present, "Lighten Up," a multimedia music-theater piece inspired by Cleveland Turner and the visionary environment he created in Houston. The duo of Lynn Neuman, choreographer, and Joshua Davis, composer, will present, "Toss," a dance/soundscape that examines overconsumption and today's throwaway mentality.

Saturday, Nov. 12 -- 1980's Reunion Jazz Ensemble Concert  The Fredonia Jazz Ensemble 80’s Reunion Band will be performing at Mohegan Manor ( in Baldwinsville, NY on November 12th at 7:30pm.  The performance is free and is sponsored by the Fredonia Alumni Association at SUNY Fredonia.
