Saturday, Sept. 12--Cleveland Jazz Orchestra Concert

Starting at 8 p.m., the Hanna Theatre concert features the student vocal group, "The Fredonia Voices." Titled, “An Evening of Ella and Ellington” soloists are student Nia Drummond, and faculty jazz artist, Bruce Johnstone. Prospective students are invited. Hanna Theatre is located at 2067 E. 14th St, Cleveland, OH. Tickets are $15/person but prospective students can reserve a free ticket per person. Purchase online by clicking on links.

Monday, Sept. 21--SUNY hosts alumni at the Braves vs. Mets game

SUNY will be hosting a pre-game reception at McFadden’s Restaurant, attached to Citi Field, from 5 to 7 p.m., then seats in the stadium in the Big Apple Reserved section. Tickets are $29/person, and include refreshments and appetizers at McFadden’s. This event is family-friendly and will provide a great chance for alumni to network with others from SUNY campuses across the state. Visit the official website>> 


 

Thursday and Friday, Oct. 1 & 2--Freedonia Marxonia

Our annual Marx Brothers Festival will feature originator Douglas Canham,'87. The two-day event is sponsored by Matthew and Cheri Hahn, Hahn Family Freedonia Marxonia Fund, Fredonia College Foundation. There will be an accompanying exhibit in Reed Library Oct. 1 – 25.

Join Fredonia alumni for the 2 p.m. performance and back stage tour at the Asolo Repertory Theatre, featuring orchestra musicians John Cooley, ’73, and Tom Ellison, ‘73. The theatre is adjacent to the Ringling campus, 5555 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fl. If you have questions, please email Karen West. Tickets are $35 per person.
