One Brick at a Time


We invite you to mark your place in Fredonia’s history by purchasing a Scholarship Walkway Brick. Your engraved brick can be a personal legacy or be used to honor a friend, parent, student, or even a favorite faculty member. Show your pride in your alma mater by inscribing your name and class year on a brick. Commemorate a special occasion such as a graduation or retirement, or memorialize a  member of the Fredonia community.The Brick Walkway will be installed in theWilliams Center Patio area for students, faculty and alumni to enjoy. The purchase of the walkway brick will support scholarships to assist Fredonia in continuing to attract the best and brightest students.

Saturday, Dec. 10 -- "Once"  Alumni Night at Shea's Performing Arts Center 

Pre-Show Reception, Bijou Grille (second floor - elevator accessible), 643 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14203

6 PM.   At the reception four recent Fredonia Technical Theatre grads who are working with the show, will be recognized:  Colin Braeger ’12, Jacob Brinkman '14, Robert DiCandia ’15, and Justin Petito ’15.  Reception is free.

Sunday, January 15 -- Sarasota, FL Windjammers Concert Gathering  Windjammers Concert at Sailor Circus, 1:00 PM, Sailor Circus Arena

2075 Bahia Vista St., Sarasota, FL 34239 Join us on Sunday, January 15, at 1 PM for a Windjammers Concert at Sailor Circus. The Windjammers is an organization of musicians dedicated to the preservation and playing  of traditional circus music. The concert concludes its annual Sarasota conference. Alumna Mary Anne Harp, Class of 1963, conducts and plays in the band. At this event, the Sailor Circus performers who are accomplished youngsters from grade school to high school will perform circus acts that consistently amaze the audience! This event is FREE, but we encourage online reservations so we know you are coming and we can save enough seats:or e-mail:

Saturday, January 21 -- Pink The Rink The Fredonia men's hockey team will meet Post University on Jan. 21, 7 PM.  

People wishing to join the fight will be able to purchase a jersey for $250 and have the name of a loved one or an organization placed on the nameplate. Saturday, March 18 -- New Smyrna Beach, FL Alumni Reunion Dolphin Discovery Pontoon Boat Ride on Indian River Lagoon 

11 AM to 1:00 PM, Boarding begins at 11 AM, boat departs at 11:30 for 1.5 hour tour. $25 per person, includes light refreshments. Meet at Marine Discovery Center, 520 Barracuda Blvd., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169

Learn about the Indian River Lagoon, North America’s most diverse estuary system where salt and fresh water mingle to provide a home for  more than 4,000 species of plants and animals, including 35 listed as threatened or endangered. Mangrove plants line shorelines and  birds such as osprey, pelicans, ibis, herons, roseate spoonbills or even bald eagles are commonly seen. In the estuary, bottlenose dolphins chase pods of baitfish, and manatees charm with their slow-moving gentle ways as they swim with their newborns. The dolphins found in the Indian River Lagoon are Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins and the population in the Indian River Lagoon is unique to their oceanic brethren, exhibiting smaller body size, and longer flippers.
