Classes of 1958 through 1962 establish 50-Year Class Gifts

A fund becomes endowed – and therefore a permanent named legacy for the class – when total gifts reach $10,000. Gifts are welcome at any time and in many formats: Checks can be made payable to Fredonia College Foundation with the Class Gift Name and year in the memo section. Credit card gifts can be made by mail, phone or at www.fredonia.edu/foundation.

To arrange a stock transfer or discuss a bequest as part of your will or another planned gift, contact Karen West at Karen.West@fredonia.edu or (716) 673-3321.

Class of 1958 Friends Forever Scholarship

  • Current balance: $24,528
  • Fully endowed, permanent legacy for the Class of 1958
  • The scholarship is being awarded each year for students who are entering their senior year, excelling in their academic major and demonstrating characteristics that make the university proud.

Class of 1959 Green Initiative

  • Ongoing, not an endowment
  • The Class of 1959 led the way to green energy at the College Lodge - Camp Mackie, with two wind generators. Class members continue to send funds, which are directed for maintenance and to support future green initiatives. The next project is solar panels! Donors’ names are recognized in a display at the lodge.

Class of 1960 Legacy Endowment

  • Building Toward Endowment
  • Current balance: $4,008
  • Once endowed, the earnings from the Class of 1960 Legacy Endowment will be split between scholarships and green technology at the lodge.

Class of 1961 Jazz Program Fund

  • Current Balance: $7,635
